Happy Fathers’ Day and Day #3

 

First of all I would like to wish all the Daddy’s out there a Happy Fathers’ Day!!!! May God bless your journey and for those who’s daddy’s are in heaven they are an angel taking of you. 

I have always been a daddy’s  girl and will continue to be!!!

Okay day 3 on the master cleanse was a bit difficult because they BBQ ! here at my the house.  There guacamole, rice, salsa, grilled chicken and carne asada (insert drool) The smell of the grilled onion was mouth watering buy I am very proud of myself I just smelled them and kept to my cleanse.  I am feeling amazing.  I can see in my face that I have lost some weight.  Even though weight loss is part of it this is not the number 1 reason why I am doing this cleanse.  I am doing it because my body has been asking for me take better care of it and it’s time that I do so.  I am doing this cleanse to detoxify my body and to start on a life journey of healthy food and exercise. 

Today I much better I have more energy.  My headaches are gone.  I am still feeling hungry although is less now.  I did an adjustment to the sea salt flush that I drink on an empty stomach in the morning because I counldn’t drink it.  I still leave a bit at the bottom but with less sea salt that I added it much better.  Tomorrow is Monday and I go back to work so we will see how it goes.

Can I Master It!!!

So lately my body has been telling me I need to take care of more.  I can’t eat like I used to (which I guess is a good thang cuz this girl can eat!), eat fried food, or drink soda any more.  I start feeling nauseated and just really disgusted.

So I decided to do the Master Cleanse.  What is the master cleanse you may be asking?  The master cleanse is also know as the lemonade diet which consist of raw lemon juice, grade B maple syrup, and cayenne pepper.  I had attempted yes emphasis on attempted to do it in the past but I was doing all wrong and I gave up. 

So I decided to give it another shot and well here I am almost at the end of my day and I wanted to share my experience or what I have been feeling.

I am feeling very hungry.  I have a slight headache, and I am also feeling sort of weak.  I have drank about a half a gallon of the lemonade mix and later I will be drinking my laxative tea.  The gross part for me as been the salt water flush—grosssss—It was hard to finish it in the morning. 

I weighed in and well I’ll keep you inform as to how much-if at all-weight I loss.  I am thinking now maybe I should have chosen a different time to do it because Fathers’ Day is this weekend and there is going to be BBQ everywhere..OH BOY!! 

I just have to do it for me and my body so day 1 is almost done.  See you on day 2.

I’m BACK!!!!

Hello my LOVIES!

I know I have been missing in action for quiet some time and for that I apologize.  I have been metamorphosing. Yes, I have been on a journey to major transformation.  I have been meditating and I can not wait to share all of those things with you.  In the meantime I send you of with this:

Beautiful Sunset!!!!

Look at this amazing sunset.  I took this picture while going on a walk.  I needed to be away from the noise and listen to my inner self talking to me.  I love being surrounded by nature, I find peace. 

I love sunsets they are an indication of a ending and a beginning.  In life it is like this.  If you had a bad day just remember you will be blessed with the opportunity to start over. 

Don’t stay stuck on the day that is ending.  Wake up to a better opportunity to shine.

Knocking me down!

Today I read a comment or maybe a verse and it said something like this:

You may not be responsible for getting knocked down,  but you're certainly responsible for getting back up.

I have been knocked down lately and I am CHOOSING to get back up a stronger and more confidant person. 

There is beauty always to be found in the ashes of our despairs, heart brokeness, and with the daily struggles of life.  This is were we get to find out how strong we are and how strong is our faith.

Pill full of Sugar!!!

After starting the day badly...it got really good after I went to check my mail.  I have been eyeing Sugarpill Cosmetics for a while and every time I went on their site the buring heart palette was sold out.  I asked to be notified and when they did I was on it like gum to my shoe. hahaha

I did some swatches for you all you lovelies: 

The purple (Poison Plum), red (Love +), and the orange (Flamepoint) are highly pigmented.  As far as the yellow (Buttercupcake) I  needed to swatch it  several times to have the color but that is okay because yellow in general is very hard to work with. 

This is what came in the box:

Came wrapped in a hot pink paper...how cute is that.  I am totally keeping the paper.  It also came with a sticker, a sample loose eyeshadow in magentric (hot pink color with sparkles!!)

What's the deali-OOO!?!

Hello beautiful people!!!!!
This is my very first blog post so I really don't know what to expect. However, it is very exciting!!! Let me start off by just telling y'all a little bit about me, your girl GIGI, (hahaha that totally rhymed)
1. I love life.
2. I am a crazy makeup lover (ask my sisters and my mama they think I am crazy...period)
3. I try to live by these words: You are what you think about. Basically if you think you are not worth it you will make yourself believe that you are not worth it. Change your thoughts and in return your world will change as well.
4. I try to put myself first. Sometimes this is hard to do because I am a giver, I give my time to my family (they are my breath) and I forget to take care of me.
5. Love yourself before you love someone else..Never seek love from someone is because it will never be good enough. Love and honor who you are. You are unique and fabulous!!!
There are so many other things to add to my list but then this blog will be more like a book...hahaha. In the coming days I will post another What's the deali-OOO!?!
